AEROSTARS: An UAV Research and Development Society
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Kanchan Mudgil
AEROSTARS is the UAV Research and Development Society of MAIT under the guidance of Dr Vaibhav Jain, HoD, ME Deptt and mentorship of Dr Kanchan Mudgil, Asst. Prof, ME Deptt. Started in 2021, this society aims to integrate engineering, technology, and sports, focusing on promoting the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones, to foster practical learning and innovation among students.
Empowering Future Innovators
AEROSTARS aims to transform students from passive consumers of technology into tomorrow's creators and innovators. Through hands-on projects and research, students are immersed in the world of UAVs, learning about UAV structure, development, safety, maintenance, aeronautics, and future drone-related careers. Their focus is on providing practical knowledge that prepares students for real-world challenges and opportunities in the UAV industry.
