Department of Mechanical Engineering 

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology is established by Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society promoted by a group of well known Industrialists, Businessman, Professionals and Philanthropists with an aim to promote quality education in the field of Technology. MAIT endeavors to provide industry relevant education and training to its well-crafted practical training programs for the student in different semesters of the course.

Mechanical Engineering as one of the core engineering disciplines was started at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi in the year 2019. MAIT offers a 4 years (8 semesters) B.Tech. course in Mechanical Engineering with an intake of 60 students. Department allows the students to opt for a minor specialization in core and emerging areas as well as offers interdisciplinary courses for providing cross-cutting knowledge to the students to pursue their interests. The course materials are updated periodically according to the GGSIPU scheme to inculcate new scientific and technical advancements to meet industry and society needs.
