3D SPACE: ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING SOCIETY OF MAIT
The 3D Space club of MAIT provides a platform where inquisitive minds congregate and drive their passion from theoretical concepts of additive manufacturing towards its realization in practical applications. The club gives opportunities to exchange ideas and achieve excellence in the research area of additive manufacturing. It creates a supportive environment for scientific research, promotes innovations and project collaborations, and organizes workshops, design challenges and exhibitions which cover the basics as well as the advanced topics including the ongoing innovations in the field of additive manufacturing. The framework of the club helps students to print their innovative ideas and analyse their working behaviour in the real world.
The club currently has 30 members who foster creativity, innovation, and technical skills. The members are actively participating in various technical events and are also presenting their research work on global platforms like international conferences held by reputed institutes across India. This platform helps students develop technical and professional skills along with personality development to raise next generation leaders in the field of Mechanical Engineering.
The 3D Space club plays a vital role in shaping student’s overall personality and interconnecting academic learning with the industrial demand (career prospects) and research essentials.
